CHALLENGING PROGRAMS.

ELITE / ADVANCE / BEGINNER

Each session will prepare you MENTALLY and PHYSICALLY.
A HIGH PRIORITY will be given on SPECIFIC GOALIE SKATING.
When you arrive for your session.
You should be FOCUSED and willing to WORK HARD.

THE GOALIE PUZZLE
Goalie skills are similar to the pieces you find in a puzzle.
Each piece represents a skill that needs to be developed.
Once all the skills are refined, the goalie can use them in
a game. Now, the goalie puzzle is complete.

Who will be teaching the sessions ?
When you reserve time with Louis Chabot, you get Louis Chabot. The moment we begin I become your personal goalie coach. I will key my energy on building your confidence in a professional atmosphere. Each goalie becomes my #1 priority throughout the session. You will leave the session with confidence and a sense of accomplishment.


What is the objective of each session ?
Beginning with the first session the student will be professionally evaluated.
From there I will focus my 36 years of teaching experience to meet the student's most immediate need for improvement. All you need is the will and the desire to improve. I am confident that my high energy, intensity,
and passion for coaching will reflect on your success as a goaltender.


What style do you teach ?
My philosophy is to work within the student's style. Each goalie is unique with their own style, stance and ability to play the position. Understanding this as a professional goalie coach is instrumental in the development and success of a goalie. My teaching method encourages the student to make adjustments rather than drastic changes in their game. Teaching the goalie WHEN and HOW to execute each skill at the precise moment. I will maximize each goalie's style to reach their full potential.

 

When are the sessions held ?
You can reserve a session by appointment only. Days of operation are Saturday and Sunday. Monday-Friday are by special request only.


How many goalies do you train per session ?
Usually two goalies per session. For beginners or the younger goalies, no more than three.


How are goalies paired ?
Based on the goalie's age, level, and ability. Every attempt will be made to find parity to ensure a challenging session.


Can one reserve a session with a friend or teammate ?
Yes, all you need is to mention this when you reserve your session.


Who will be shooting ?
Most sessions include a qualified Junior A player who is familiar with my teaching method. He will adjust his shot for the level of the goalies attending. Thus, ensuring a realistic and challenging experience for each goalie.


How do I get my first session started ?
Please call or e-mail Louis regarding the cost, location, time, and date that you are requesting.
